My real name's Katie, and I'm a student at Durham University in England. I'm 21 (terrifyingly) and am about to start an MA in Mesopotamian myth, whiiich is pretty much the only thing more pointless than Classics I could find. I like all sorts of things which shouldn't really go together - fantasy, sci-fi, hardcore serious stuff and the cheesiest ridiculous stuff you could imagine. Right now next to my bed? I have Euripedes's Medea, the first of the Dexter books, and a romance novel. That should give you a good idea of my life.

Oh, and also - right now on my desk, I have an Alexander the Great and an Ozymandias action figure. I specifically put them together so they could hang out. There's also a cactus.
